Still struggling to get over Your Ex? – Refresh Your Bio

Why you can’t get over the breakup and what you can do to break the hold on your broken heart

Breakups are often tough to deal with, especially when you have no clue that they are coming to an end. Whether it was sudden or had been brewing for some time, the ending happened, and your heart, soul, and mind are stuck with nowhere to go. Sure, there were subtle signs, but sometimes the signs were so big that you got used to the patterns. You thought it wasn’t a big deal.

Options are not the same as having the one you want

It would have been fair if you gave each other a heads up when seeing other people was official; in theory, in real life, breakups just don’t work outย thatย way. You can call someone else up, but this breakup has you obsessed. It’s left you with unresolved issues and unanswered questions, and to top it off – they have already moved on.

How did we get here?

If you stay on this topic briefly, you will move past your new reality more quickly. Nonetheless, learning from what happened and how to proceed moving forward is a healthy process. You could be saying that you did nothing wrong and that someone should give you back everything you lost. Your old flame embarrassed you and brought shame to your life; someone must pay. In your eyes, your ex owes you money, your body, time, and your heart.

While this could be a powerful way to handle the breakup, it is not the only way. Now is not the time to seek revenge; it’s time to show them what they will miss.

In my latest ebook,ย How to Turn A Breakup Into A Breakthrough: And move on like a boss, I teach you real-life lessons learned to heal and move on without desiring to look back. It was essential to cover not-so-pretty behaviors during breakups because dealing with a broken heart is not cookie-cutter. We might use cookie-cutter words or behaviors to mask our pain, but it only has us clinging to something that no longer exists. If you can’t stop cyberstalking, talking about them, or staying in contact by any means necessary, this book is definitely for you.

It’s hard to wrap around our brains; how could someone we thought would be around for a long time suddenly no longer have the sparkle in their eyes? No more sweet talks, celebrations, or quality time together. You used to tell them about your day and who got on your nerves and laughed it off together. Now you have to start over and you are coming to the realization that it is more complicated than you thought.

People change, and so do feelings.

Breaking Old Habits.

It’s hard to stop the new habits that you’ve formed. You Netflixed and chilled. They were your person, and now you have to start all over again. Even if they or the relationship wasn’t perfect, you wish you had more time to get yourself together.

Don’t try to force it.

There may be a chance for you to clear the air but now is not the time or it depends on what they have to say. If you press them, they will regress. The more you pay attention to them, the less opportunity you will have to focus on healing yourself. It sucks being single when you didn’t want to be. Especially when you thought things were going good.

I don’t believe in coincidence and always try to see the rainbow after the rain. You might not be where you want to be right now, but you could be heading onto something better. All you have to do is take the first step to put yourself first.

If you want more insightful tips, check out my latest eBook and audio book; it will get you right. Before you know it, – you will be back to love in the relationship you truly desire.

The breakup is not a personal attack. It’s what’s best for that person.
