Getting the Rooster Out

The Rooster Out: A Unique Approach to Healing.

Getting the Rooster Out came from me realizing that healing doesn’t have to be in a box or one size fits all. Trying to multi-task made my desire to order more of a necessity. So yesterday, I had breakfast that I ordered from a deli that was a few miles away. Then at the same time, I coordinated to have a Starbucks Cold brew with sweet cream delivered.

During the day, I spent most of the time using my Macbook and 2 bottles of Essentia water by my side to stay hydrated. During the day, I felt an incredible pain that upside my spine.

I had no idea what was happening.

I thought. First, it was my undergarment that needed losing up. The pain became more substantial, and as a doer, I went into action to solve the problem. I laid down on the bed, even in a cradle position, but nothing seemed to work.

Then I thought to myself, if I tried everything. I don’t know if you’ve felt pain in your spine that just felt like a firm grip in the most tender spots of your back. If you haven’t, be happy. It’s not a good feeling at all.

I firmly believe that what happens inside our minds affects our bodies, and it continues to fester until we address it. I remember how one of my neighbors took up multiple parking spots for his at-home car shop. I don’t mind anyone’s hustle – but boy, do I hate being taken for granted.

Maybe A little.

I can take many things, but something about someone constantly encroaching on my space or having invasive energy is a no-go. While I was aching, I thought about how I was annoyed. Was this bothering me? Maybe. A little. Did it cause the pain, or was it stress to complete my audiobooks that will be available soon. Was it financial, waiting for money from different places, or worrying about the future?

Pick a card. Any card.

The truth is that maybe something was not prepared well, or I had a reaction to the milk in my brew, Or I had to let the rooster out. Sometimes when we think we are okay and feel okay, it is the exact moment when pain comes on. The signs matched up, and I knew it was time to get to self-work.

Get ready to try new things.

Then I had an idea to take a shower. I got on all fours in the shower, let the warm water splash on my back, and stayed there for a few seconds. While still on all fours, I stretched my back up and posed like a C shape while hunching upwards.

Then I did something that I had never done before. I forced out a horrid noise that sounded like a choking rooster releasing negative energy and letting it escape my body. I did this twice and agreed to remove all things bothering me at the time. I didn’t feel upset, but our bodies know better.

Something happened.

When I released the negative energy, I could get up with much less pain. My mind felt great, and after I got dressed, I slowly went downstairs to make some homemade tea. I spiced it up with cloves and honey and then sat on the couch. I grabbed a blanket and got cozy watching baking cookie competitions.

In about 10 or so minutes, I felt back to myself.

Even if you are not too heavy into spirituality and mindfulness, that’s okay. You do not have to connect all of these dots. They were aligned for me. I felt happier and like something really left my body, and I agreed to release it.

The Connection Between Mind, Body, and Pain

I spoke with my sister today, and she said she wanted help organizing the books she uses in school. This was not the first time she said she wanted to do it, and somehow it never gets done to an adequate level. Who’s level? I’ll leave that up to you.

She doesn’t like to get rid of anything. She has a story for every pot. Says she is using them all. I said, “Really?” “Are you a chef? Because you are always busy in class and after school, how do you have time to use them?” She laughed it off sheepishly.

If you want new energy, you must be willing to let something important go.

Our living space is just like our body because it is home. If we have a cluttered house, we have a cluttered mind. If we can’t let go of the past or a lingering relationship, we will not throw out pots, books, clothes, or anything. We might tease the universe with some light action, but who will you really deceive?

Letting Go Clutter: How Organizing Your Space Can Free Your Mind.

It is about listening to what your home, mind, and soul are trying to say. Troubling energy will make its way into your life as soon as it is allowed. It usually takes a bold outcome to get our attention, and then we try to scratch our heads looking for clues and answers. The answer is already there.

Feeling Stuck? Take Bold Action and Release What’s Holding You Back.

What do you have to release? Is there something that you are hoping for, and you feel stuck? Feeling stuck is never fun. I like to say that God is doing the final touch-ups. What is for you is so incredible and designed solely for you. It might enter your life in a way you would have never imagined. Life is funny like that at times and can be truly rewarding.

Thriving Through Life Challenges: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Healing

Thriving involves being able to navigate the bumps in the road. Those who aim to thrive understand that roadblocks cannot be avoided, but can used as opportunities to learn, grow, and become stronger. By actively seeking ways to overcome challenges and push forward towards their goals, they not only survive but thrive. This mentality allows individuals to adapt to life’s challenges and come out on top.

Sometimes, our bodies manifest pain to alert us of the need to address underlying issues. Getting the Rooster Out is an example of a unique to healing. It involves releasing negative energy and letting go of what no longer serves us, whether it’s physical clutter or emotional baggage. By letting go of these burdens, our minds and souls are freed, allowing us to thrive and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease. Taking bold action and releasing what’s holding us back is essential for growth and success.

If you feel stuck, you know what position to take! Who cares if someone laughs? Why tell them anyway?

This is your journey.
